Responsibilities:

  • Will vary depending on priorities, but will involve driving a wide range of initiatives. Examples include: Mahabba  Awards, Live in our Hearts, LitAarfu,…
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to shape the department and set its goals and long term strategies
  • Build department team and local teams for remote initiatives.
  • Coordinate  with senior executives to define and drive key initiatives and impact on overall organization mission and goals.
  • Set department annual objectives and action plan required to achieve its goals and Lead department team to execute them effectively
  • Proactively identify and deliver on high value opportunities (e.g., operational processes, organizational structure, target segments, etc.)
  • Support improvement opportunities, working closely with team members and other departments heads
  • Develop presentations and progress reports for senior management

Requirements

  • Proven track record in creating cultural and behavior change, marketing plans, and strategies.
  • Over 14 years, or 12 years of post-MBA, experience (preferably in projects/event management)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build a team
  • Able to lead multiple cross-functional teams in identifying and achieving high value opportunities and goals.
  • Proactive and willing to work hard to deliver on project objectives
  • Able to see the big picture and derive implications for the organization
  • High degree of flexibility and productivity; initiative and creativity

A good undergraduate qualification or equivalent in Project Management or similar field

Experience

12-14 years experience in a project based environment (preferably events management)

At least 6 year experience in non-profit/voluntary sector

Experience in communicating with all management levels, and internal and external stakeholders and suppliers

Excellent command of English and Arabic
