About Tabah Initiatives

The ever growing globalization of communities, cultures and people has empowered a pressing need in the world today for the global Muslim community to return to timeless ideals and values from which it has lapsed. The Tabah Initiatives Program operates around this need, and functions to endow sustainable and enduring efforts that:

• Nurture mutual respect and acquaintance between faiths, peoples and cultures, as summoned in the Qur'an:
  "O Mankind! We have created you of a male and a female, and made you tribes and families that you may know one another; The most honorable of you in the sight of God is the one among you most righteous; Verily God is Knowing, Aware."
• Rekindle the bonds of love and following between Muslims and their Prophet, upon him peace
• Heal divisions and promote tolerance and courtesy between religious groups, as commanded by God:
  "And hold fast, all together, by the rope which God stretches out for you, and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude God's favor on you; for you were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, you became brethren; and you were on the brink of a pit of fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make His signs clear to you, that you may be guided".

We currently operate three initiatives in this regard, namely:

• Alive in Our Hearts
